Welcome
This is a global experiment: a place to tell the world what you think about America and also read what other people think.
LOVE US HATE US: What the World Thinks of America is produced by Berkshire Publishing Group, a small publisher making the world a better place by exploring and promoting global understanding.
Berkshire Publishing is an award-winning knowledge and technology company based in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, a small town in the Berkshire Hills of western New England. Publisher and author Karen Christensen is CEO of Berkshire Publishing. Here is what she writes:
"When I go abroad, I’m always asking people what they think of us—do they love us or hate us? What’s so touching, so surprising in a way, is that they mostly love America and Americans. They still see our country as a symbol of much that is good, of ideals that have universal meaning. They remind me of the things I love myself about America, at a time when there is a whole lot I don’t like at all."
The Berkshire team for LOVE US HATE US includes programmer Trevor Young, web designer Anne Campbell, and developmental editor Carrie Owens. While we play "loves me, loves me not" with our daisy, we await your comments. If you’d like to contact us, we’d love to hear from you.
Once you've added your own thoughts, read and rate the others, then sign up for the newsletter to read the best new ones each month. Love US? Hate US? Thank you for participating.
With warm regards,
The Berkshire Team
