This is a global experiment: a place to tell the world what you think about America and also read what other people think. What do you love about America? What do you hate about America? (Or maybe it's a love/hate thing for you?)

Americans are interested in the world, and in the world their kids are growing up in, in a deep and profound way. What they are thirsty for are books or articles that can explain to them in terms they understand what is happening in their world. If you don't talk down to people, and frame things in a way that's compelling and interesting—hopefully with stories—then they will understand.

I dislike America simply because as an English citizen I can't help but notice the brainwashing propaganda that is promoted in American films. the Americans believe in their glorious past with fierce patriotism when in reality all they are is an old colony built upon the massacre of an indigenous race, slave labour and the might of British industry, wealth and military. All it was founded on was a bunch of arrogant English nobles who saw an opportunity to grab some petty land and titles from a weakened British empire. I like the way they were thinking though and I guess it all worked out as they wanted—as the spoilt, self-righteous American society of today clearly shows.

I hope I can move there myself one day:) lol
